How many times do you find yourself into a situation where you wonder – Could I do anything to change it? Can I actually do anything to change it?

It was the day following a weekend workshop regarding Business and consequently Personal growth. I was driving the roads of Pretoria, stopped to visit a new potential client and the lady at the till when she saw the bottle of ALKALINE water asked me if she could buy it, she explained she was looking for Alkaline water as prescribed by her doctor to be able to take her medicine. I gave her the bottle and my card so she can contact me later to actually get her on board of the Waterpreneur program.

That’s how the day started – POSITIVE! Helping someone I didn’t even know – it felt GREAT!

The day went on, kept driving and I had to stop at a robot. There a lady with a kid was asking for money. Something clicked in my mind… giving her money would have a very quick “end” of the gesture. What could I really do to help her? And many more?

Responsibility = Response + Ability
Response – how you react to a situation, request, or challenge
Ability – your capacity, skills, or power to act

I thought…. if I give her water for free, with a little reference for the buyer to then buy water and use that money to then supply other people in need I would actually create a micro economy where everyone would pay for themself. No gain. No profit. Just better life for all people involved in the circle.
